Manny Tavarez, also known as Manny T, is a pianist, composer, producer, and bandleader currently living in New York. Manny has been making music ever since he started playing Latin and Jazz at the young age of 7.

These days, Manny specializes in making Latin, Dance, and R&B music, however, for his version of the SafeAuto jingle, he wanted to do something a little different. “I wrote a fusion of Rock with a Latin flavor and a catchy melody,” explains Tavarez. “What makes my jingle special is the fact that it’s direct, to the point, and easy to digest.”

Manny dreams of becoming the next SafeAuto Do the Jingle winner, as he feels that this contest can give him the chance to take his music career to the next level. “Winning the Do the Jingle contest would mean a lot to be because I know it will open doors and give me the opportunity to show the world my talent,” Manny remarks.

We didn’t believe the story we heard from the band members of That’s Classic! about how they met, and we’re guessing you won’t believe it either!

Cincinnati, Ohio natives Austin Bever and Colin Cooper have been making songs together ever since they ran into each other at the grocery store and started a conversation about music.

Colin is the beat maker of the group and Austin can break it down with his moves and knack for creative ingenuity. “Our exceptionally different thinking sets us apart from other jingles as we attempt to mix viral dance moves with incredible melodies and lyrics,” explains Colin.

If their chance meeting isn’t coincidence enough, both band members also drive minivans and both are proud of it!

“Winning this jingle would mean the world to us and we would rep our SafeAuto gear to the ends of the earth,” exclaims Colin. “Literally, everywhere in the world, you would see us in our SafeAuto shirts saying SafeAuto is legit…and they keep you legal for less!”

While Christy Gambrel has been a singer and songwriter for most of her life, first and foremost, she is a mom. Currently living in Louisville, Kentucky, Christy continues to pursue her passion for music and has passed this passion (and talent) onto her children, whom she loves to feature in all of her music endeavors (including her very catchy SafeAuto Jingle).

Christy had her first child at the early age of fourteen, and after giving birth to him after only 25 weeks, he suffers from several disabilities including mild mental retardation, central nervous system dysfunction, developmental delays, and Tourette’s syndrome. “Danny dreams of being on stage in an arena where he can rock hundreds of thousands of music loving fans,” explains Christy. “He is very accomplished at the drums and speed drums and Danny was born with the gift of music.”

Her daughters, Cornelia and Skyla, were also blessed with this gift. “Cornelia loves to sing and dance and write poetry,” states Gambrel. “And Skyla is a born singer! She is singing at the top of her lungs all the time. She also writes songs and takes piano lessons.”

Christy hopes to win the SafeAuto Do the Jingle contest not only for the exposure it will bring to her own career as a singer and songwriter, but also because she feels it will help her children begin their own music careers and show them that with hard work, dreams really can come true!
