Clearly, SafeAuto Insurance, the state minimum auto insurance company, is obsessed with all things cars. We love to look up statistics about the fastest cars, the most expensive, and most recently, an article on Forbes about the world’s best selling cars caught our interest.
The Toyota Corolla was first introduced in 1966 in Japan, made its way to the US in 1968, and then in 1997 it became the bestselling nameplate in the world when it surpassed the Volkswagen Beetle. The Corolla comes in five models and with prices starting in the $15,000’s and a reputation of being one of the most fuel-efficient cars on the market, it’s no wonder that Toyota has sold over 30 million of these.
Toyota has the highest owner loyalty of any automaker in the world, has been named among America’s top tree most admired companies by Forbes Magazine, and they have won more Total Quality awards than any other automaker. The Toyota Corolla is produced in 16 countries, sold in 140 countries, and continues to be the top selling car in the world.
We want to know what you think about the World’s best selling car, and how many of you own a Toyota Corolla. Visit our Facebook page to share your opinion and visit our website at www.safeauto.com for a free auto insurance quote!

Michael Graye has been interested in music since he was very young. His involvement started when his parents signed him up for piano lessons at the age of 4. Ever since then, he has hooked. Michael wrote his first song at the age of 7 and has been writing, singing, and playing music ever since.
After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Music (Vocal Performance) 3 years ago, Michael moved to Manhattan to pursue a career in the music industry. “I released my first self-produced album during college, and knew that recording/production was what I wanted to dedicate my life to,” reminisces Michael. “The creation and performance of any form of music is by far the best thing that anyone can do with their life. Music is life affirming.”
For Michael, the biggest challenge of his music career has been being so far away from his family and friends. “When I made the choice to move to New York, I acknowledged the fact that I would not see many of them face to face again for a long time,” he says. “I am lucky, though, because I know they have faith in me. They have supported my crazy drive and passion ever since I was little.”
Michael knows one thing, which is that he wants to be in the music industry for the rest of his life and he wants people to know his name. “I feel in many ways that all the steps I’ve taken; all of the struggle and rejection has brought me to this point. The truth is I love writing music. I love sharing a catchy & amazing melody, a sick beat, or a truly remarkable harmony,” he remarks. “Winning a spot in the Safe Auto commercial would mean that my choices haven’t been mistakes, my passion hasn’t been misplaced, and my talent is truly valued.”
