At SafeAuto Insurance, we provide affordable car insurance to drivers looking to stay ‘Legal For Less.’ We also give away prizes to reward our amazing social media following, which consists of over 35,000 fans.
The ‘Norm’s Stuff Giveaway’ contest was social media driven. Norm Macdonald, SafeAuto’s spokesperson, decided to give away an iPad, Beats by Dre Headphones and a digital camera on the cheap car insurance companies Facebook page.
Brian Moyers from Lemont, Illinois was the lucky winner of the iPad, which happened to be the first drawing. Christina Bandy from Fort Smith, Arkansas was the second winner, and she will receive the extremely popular Beats By Dre Headphones. Beats By Dre are an extremely popular headphone brand with a mission to provide a superior end-to-end music experience with an amazing HD sound system.
“I decided to look SafeAuto up on Facebook to see if there were customer reviews,” said Christina. “I had been a fan for a while before the ‘Norm’s Stuff Giveaway’ and just happened to see a post about it. I kept thinking of how amazing the prizes are and I’m also a big Norm Fan. I knew my chances were slim but decided to give it a shot.”
Luck was on Christina’s side as she was randomly selected as the winner from thousands of entrants. “I’m so glad I entered the contest!” Christina remarked. “I think it’s great when a company runs these contests. They’re not necessarily needed, but are really appreciated by the fans and consumers.”
SafeAuto enjoys keeping drivers insured for an affordable cost so they can drive legally. Making a difference in people’s lives in other ways, such as Christina’s, is also a great joy for SafeAuto. “Too many companies are just about a buck and don’t care about their customers. SafeAuto actually gives back! Thank you so much SafeAuto, I could have never of afforded this otherwise.”

At SafeAuto Insurance, we specialize in minimum limit car insurance. We are well aware that drivers are looking to save money not only when it comes to purchasing their auto insurance, but also in their daily life activities. That is why we have decided to give away gas gift cards to our social media followers.
“Gas Giveaways” have been a staple on SafeAuto’s social media channels for the past several years. The affordable car insurance company realizes that saving money at the pump will result in more saved cash for a lucky social winner. According to GasBuddy.com, the US average on gas is $3.604. The lowest priced state is South Carolina at $3.219 and Hawaii is the highest at $4.325. Regardless of where you are located, SafeAuto believes that saving money at the pump can only have positive repercussions.
To win a $25 gas gift card, SafeAuto is asking our social media fans send a tweet to @safeauto the price of gas in their neck of the woods. Include the price and city where you are filling up your tank. We will randomly pick one of the Tweets as the official winner! In addition to the gas gift card, we will also provide a SafeAuto T-Shirt.
From all of us at SafeAuto… Drive Safe. Spend Less.

According to the definition, “No-Fault Insurance” has the goal of lowering premium costs by avoiding expensive litigation over the causes of accidents, while providing quick payments for injuries or loss of property. The victim’s car insurance company would only pay out the claim, while the driver-at-fault’s insurance company would pay out a claim and charge the party a higher insurance premium as they are now higher risk.”
No Fault Insurance has been a recent topic of debate in Michigan courts. Legislation to cap auto insurance payouts at $1 million passed out of the Michigan House committee on Insurance along party lines, with Republicans supporting the reforms.
The bill would end unlimited lifetime medical benefits for those injured in car accidents starting for anyone in an accident after December 31.
According to Michigan Governor, Rick Snyder, “Michiganders have seen their auto insurance rates rise faster than any other state in the country. It has been 40 years since the no-fault system has been implemented and it’s long overdue for review. These changes will create a policy that continues to cover accident victims far better than any other state and will create cost controls that stem the tide of rising insurance premiums while also providing immediate relief for families.”
We want to hear what you think about this new bill in Michigan. Voice your opinion on Twitter, @SafeAuto.
