Sybil Presley and Emily Kirk call themselves the Tennessee Stressbusters. They are senior citizens in their 60’s, and it is their dream to inspire people to share their talents with the world and follow their dreams no matter what their age.
The Tennessee Stressbusters are comedians that include rapping into their comedy routines. The pair met in February 2012 at the Southern Women’s Show in Memphis, and quickly became good friends and comedy partners. They hope to win the SafeAuto ‘Do the Jingle’ contest so that they can afford to film their first comedy DVD and their first CD.
Sybil and Emily believe that their jingle stands out because it includes their comedy characters. “If we can star in the SafeAuto commercial it would be great on our resumes. Being in a national commercial will also help us get exposure as comedians.” explains Sybil. “We live in Memphis, Tennessee and we want to shine the spotlight on Memphis as we promote our SafeAuto video. We will ask Memphis to vote for us and ask the media for their help.”

We didn’t believe the story we heard from the band members of That’s Classic! about how they met, and we’re guessing you won’t believe it either!
Cincinnati, Ohio natives Austin Bever and Colin Cooper have been making songs together ever since they ran into each other at the grocery store and started a conversation about music.
Colin is the beat maker of the group and Austin can break it down with his moves and knack for creative ingenuity. “Our exceptionally different thinking sets us apart from other jingles as we attempt to mix viral dance moves with incredible melodies and lyrics,” explains Colin.
If their chance meeting isn’t coincidence enough, both band members also drive minivans and both are proud of it!
“Winning this jingle would mean the world to us and we would rep our SafeAuto gear to the ends of the earth,” exclaims Colin. “Literally, everywhere in the world, you would see us in our SafeAuto shirts saying SafeAuto is legit…and they keep you legal for less!”

Cody James is a
Louisiana native who started playing the guitar at the early age of 11 years old. Just one year later, he started his own band, which gigged at different all-age venues throughout their area, and then by age 18 (with the help of mentor Harold Cowart, the ex bassist of the Bee Gee’s), he began recording his own EP.
While Cody had some setbacks after this recording, the EP was still a success and his music career had officially begun.
Currently, Cody teaches guitar lessons and is pursuing jingle writing and indie music production and songwriting. Winning the SafeAuto “Do the Jingle” contest would mean many things to Cody. “Winning this competition would mean having an amazing piece of accomplishment in my portfolio to continue pursuing my aspirations as a jingle writer. It would also mean giving me the funds necessary to expand my studio so I can record one-take band recordings and make another aspiration of mine come true.”
Cody feels that he has written the winning jingle and believes that his jingle will stand out among all of the others in the competition. He says, “I truly believe through hearing it get stuck in all my friends’ and families’ heads, that this jingle will help draw in new customers or at least keep your companies’ name in mind.”
