Donald Cerrone had never lost two fights in a row. The fighter nicknamed ‘Cowboy’ was facing a lot of pressure leading up to his bout against K.J. Noons at UFC 160. In a 26-fight professional career, Cerrone had always rebounded after a loss. The lightweight who trains out of Albuquerque, New Mexico upheld his reputation in route to a unanimous decision.

The bout was extremely one sided as Cerrone dominated from start to finish. ‘Cowboy’ landed 78 significant strikes (according to FightMetric) which made fans quickly forget about his loss to Anthony Pettis.  With his controlling win over K.J. Noons, the fighting world is curious as to who ‘Cowboy’ will face next.

In the post fight press conference, Cerrone was asked about a potential fight with Josh Thomson. “Absolutely, why not,” emphatically stated ‘Cowboy’. “I’ll fight anybody.”
