The last time Bart Palaszewski shaved the famous SafeAuto logo onto his head he defeated Tyson Griffin via KO en route to Knockout of the Night honors at UFC® 137 in Las Vegas. ‘Bartimus’ will once again be representing SafeAuto Insurance Company, this time at UFC® 144 in Saitama, Japan as he squares off against Hatsu Hioki in the Featherweight bout on the main card. Will Bart ‘Bartimus’ Palaszewski shave the SA logo onto his head for fight night like he did when he KO’d Tyson Griffin at UFC® 137? “You know it,” exclaimed Bart via Twitter before leaving for Japan. “SafeAuto has been great as a sponsor, and they have really taken care of me,” exclaimed Bart. “They are an auto insurance company that people around the country know about; it’s a good company to represent.” Palaszewski has won five of his last six fights with his only defeat coming via split decision in his last WEC fight against Kamal Shalorus. This time around, Bart travels to Japan to face hometown favorite Hatsu Hioki. Well aware he will be in enemy territory Bart said “Japanese fans compared to US fans are two different worlds — you’re going to have 30,000-plus people there and you’re going to be able to hear a pin drop. I’m stepping into enemy territory, so I guess I’ve got something even more to prove now.”
