We want to let you know… we hear you. We are living in strange times; you may not know when or where your next paycheck is coming from and we want to help. We have always believed everyone deserves insurance coverage at a price they can afford. And that’s why we’re making changes as a company, so you don’t have to choose between paying your car insurance bill or buying groceries.

If you have been directly affected by COVID-19, do not hesitate to call us. We’re doing all we can to ensure that everyone in need of coverage can get it. Let us talk you through the changes and see how else we can help for your specific situation.

Say goodbye to fees.

Did you know insurance companies charge you monthly installment fees? We’ve eliminated these fees (and reinstatement fees if you need to pause your coverage) in every state we serve.

Delivering? You’re covered.

If you’re making deliveries to make ends meet, you’re covered. SafeAuto will temporarily suspend enforcement of the delivery exclusion under our Personal Auto Policy.

From March 20, 2020 through May 31, 2020, we will temporarily provide coverage for policyholders while they provide delivery services (restaurants, retailers, groceries, pharmacies, etc.) on behalf of businesses using their personal cars that are covered by their SafeAuto policy.

Rate reductions incoming.

For select states—Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Tennessee—we have reduced rates by up to five percent. We know that every little bit counts, so we’re cutting costs where we can as we continue to find ways to save you money.

Self-service tools for quicker answers

If you are a current SafeAuto policy holder, we encourage you to seek out the latest updates on your policy by using our self-service tools. Our phones are always open if you need additional assistance.

  • QuickPay (does not require logging into your policy)
  • Policy management
  • Mobile App (available in the Apple Store and Google Play)

Our goal is to make your experience as seamless as possible during this time. Please help us by avoiding mailing in your payments and policy documents if you can, due to a possible delay in processing.

We can receive documents any time by email at forms@safeauto.com – remember to include your policy number! If you are currently receiving policy documents via U.S. mail, please enroll in paperless delivery if you are able, so we can ensure you receive your policy documents as soon as possible.

Based on the guidance of our national, state and local leaders, most of our employees are working from home to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
